Parrish Charter Academy in Florida honors R.E.D. Friday today as an entire school. Dress down days occur once a month for these students, and costs just $1 to be able to participate in dress down days. Today, these students, teachers, and the school’s headmaster, Dawn Patterson, decided to come together and wear red in Remembrance of Everyone Deployed (R.E.D.). All $1 dress down fees collected were then given to The Patriot Fund as donations to further support our Veteran community!
With the 20th anniversary of 9/11 tomorrow, these students were able to learn how important it truly is to Remember Everyone Deployed and to be thankful for their service, the service of our Veterans and our country’s freedom as a whole.
John Little (Veteran General Security US Air Force) & his wife Rachel (US Air Force) helped put together this inspiring day for the whole school at Parrish Charter Academy. With John becoming close friends with Command Chief Master Sgt. US Air Force (Ret) Will Markham (The Patriot Fund’s Executive Director) and Todd Sherman (Co-Founder & President of The Patriot Fund), John and Rachel wanted to be involved in The Patriot Fund as much as they could to help continue spreading the organization’s Mission to others.
We thank you John and Rachel for their wholehearted support for The Patriot Fund and together, we can all help spread the word as we Remember Everyone Deployed every Friday.
