Samaritan is an independent, community-based not-for-profit provider, founded locally in 1980 as one of the nation’s first hospices. They provide comfort, support, and dignity for patients and their families living with advanced illness while relieving pain and symptoms for those dealing with any stage of serious illness, even while receiving curative treatments. Samaritan also offers grief support and counseling for adults, children, and couples, and PTSD counseling for Veterans.
