The Patriot Fund Welcomes Will Markham, Command Chief Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force (ret) as Executive Director
The Patriot Fund is pleased to announce the appointment of Will Markham, Command Chief Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force (ret) as the organization’s Executive Director. Markham will lead The Patriot Fund’s mission to create a world where our heroic veterans can return from duty proactively supported mentally, emotionally, socially, and financially as they and their families re-engage into civilian life.
“All of us at The Patriot Fund are thrilled to have Will step into the role as Executive Director,” says Todd Sherman, Founder & President. “He has been instrumental in our growth as an Advisor to the Board but is also an inspiration for our effort. He has been and will always be a leader that can take our vision and make it a reality.”
He also currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Project OVAT, a charitable organization that focuses on the legal and medical support of Veterans who are attempting to navigate the Veterans Administration disability programs. Markham has 30 years of service in the United States Air Force operating at the tactical to strategic levels of leadership. He was awarded the Silver Star Medal for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action during operation ENDURING FREEDOM, near Kabul, Afghanistan, from 14 October to 30 November 2001.
