Help Our Military Heroes (HOMH) would like to welcome SFC(R) Chris Montera and his family (wife Vi, son Carter and baby Olive) to the HOMH family! SFC Chris Montera (r), US Army. Chris was wounded in March of 2012 in Kandahar, AFG when incoming enemy fire resulted in the detonation of demolition charges that were being placed by Chris’s team. This resulted in the loss of both of his legs above the knee, a TBI, spinal cord injury, and 2nd/3rd degree burns. But his healing and fight for independence continues today.
