Executive Director of The Patriot Fund, Command Chief Master Sgt. US Air Force (Ret) Will Markham, introduces Warrior Canine Connection’s Forester to the world! Forester is one of the puppies from WCC’s most recent liter and all dogs from WCC are named after Veterans. Forester is named after Senior Airman Mark Forester, who took the ultimate sacrifice for our country on September 29, 2010. We would like to specifically thank Vernon and Shirley Hill of Republic Bank for helping to make this possible!
He has recently transitioned from the Healing Quarters to his Puppy Parent who will help support, nurture, and train Forester. The journey to becoming a fully trained Service Dog for a Veteran can take approximately two years. Warrior Canine Connection utilizes its Mission Based Trauma Recovery model to help wounded Warriors reconnect with life, their families, their communities, and each other. We are glad to know that Mark still has a part in helping Veterans in need. To learn more about Warrior Canine Connection, click the linkĀ HERE.
