The Spectracare Foundation is dedicated to its mission to develop and provide quality charitable, educational, and support service within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Their organization supports and pursues research, education and training that enhances community, family and individual growth and protection from harm. One of the ways Spectracare helps Veterans is through their Healing Arts classes that are hosted on a monthly basis – free of charge to the Veteran attendees.
The various Healing Arts for Veterans events held by Spectracare Foundation offer Veterans a chance to try something new in a small social setting. Art has been proven to have therapeutic properties as much as it is fun, and with different classes being offered (ie. painting, charcoal drawing, etc.), there’s something for everyone!
