Salim Poindexter spent 13+ years in the United States Army. He graduated from Rutgers with a degree in Foreign Policy & Counter Terrorism, yet experienced issues finding work. Salim came to the Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC) as a last resort but found him a meaningful job within a week.

Holly Beckes spent 11+ years in the United States Air Force as a para-rescue medic. Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC) has helped her with housing, education, jobs, women veteran programs and general support to contribute to her success. VMC paid for her to go to EMT school and provided her with transportation through her training, now she proudly works as an EMT/Medical Vehicle transport.
