Dale Spain has spent his entire professional career serving as a warrior, fierce patriot, community leader and advocate for Veterans. Spain enlisted in the Marines at 17-years-old inspired by multiple generations of patriarchs in his family. When he joined the military, he served as an Infantry Assault Man where he focused on antitank operations and explosives. He had three combat deployments and traveled the world until he suffered a back injury.
Now a fully disabled Veteran, Spain understands how difficult it can be transitioning out of the military and has devoted his civilian life continuing to serve the needs Veterans through his work as the CEO of Hearts and Homes for Veterans, Inc. In this role, he supports homeless Veterans and their Families who find themselves without the necessities of everyday life. Through case management services, they provide eviction prevention, immediate homeless resources as well as housing and related services including utilities, household goods, furniture, food and other essentials to more than 600 Veterans a year.
Spain also selflessly supports the Southwest Florida community through his service on the Board of Directors of the Lee County Veteran Advisory Board and Lee County Community Action Agency.
