Thank you to everyone who joined us at Chickie’s and Pete’s in Philadelphia to celebrate the naming of Brucey, the newest service dog made possible by The Patriot Fund and our Operational Partner, Leashes of Valor!
Named in memory of Vietnam Veteran Bruce Mitchell, Brucey will be placed with the amazing team at Jefferson College of Nursing (Thomas Jefferson University) following his training. We are so grateful to have created a partnership between all of our organizations, and we look forward to continuing working together to provide service dogs to those in need, all while honoring the brave men and women who have served our country.
