Meet Major Jonathan Turnbull US Army (Ret), who served as our Keynote Presenter at our Second Annual Patriot Invitational. We are thrilled and honored to have him join us again this fall for both our Annual Patriot Fund Gala and the 6th Annual Stars & Stripes Gala!
Jonathan Turnbull enlisted in the United States Army in 2005 and served multiple deployments across the Middle East, where he led missions that improved life in war-torn communities, including restoring education for 4,000 girls and power to hundreds of thousands.
In 2019, while conducting a school wellness check, an ISIS suicide bombing left him severely wounded and permanently blind after sustaining catastrophic injuries. After more than 20 surgeries and extensive rehabilitation, he retired in 2021 and went on to author the book Zero Percent Chance.
